Ladybug House, a Seattle-based nonprofit, was founded by a longtime RN, Suzanne Gwynn, who witnessed the need for Ladybug House firsthand. Children with life-threatening illnesses and their families deserve a positive, supportive space outside of the hospital to comfortably gather, take a break, and have fun.

Suzanne and Ladybug House are working to build and operate Washington State’s first free-standing, family-centered palliative care and hospice home for children, adolescents, and young adults with life-threatening illnesses.

Ladybug House logoLadybug House will give exhausted families the opportunity to gather comfortably outside of the traditional hospital setting, offering physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support all under one roof, as well as end-of-life care and ongoing bereavement support if needed.
