SAV-ON Insurance has joined hands with our favorite charity, Ladybug House, to sponsor ‘Food for Families’, a service that provides free meals to families and caregivers who are staying with a dying youngster and are not willing to leave the hospital due to the knowledge that their child may pass away while they’ve been gone.
These grieving families need to eat, but vending machines are not adequate for providing nutrition.
So, Ladybug House provides gift cards that the families can use in the hospital’s cafeteria. SAV-ON has supplied the envelopes that the gift cards are put into.
Helping families as they cope with seriously ill youngsters is so important. SAV-ON is proud to help sponsor this valuable program.
