State-Specific Privacy Notice
Additional privacy rights that may apply to you depending on where you live.
This notice supplements our Privacy Notice and describes additional rights that may apply to residents of particular states. Where a state law conflicts with the general notice, the state-specific terms control for residents of that state.
Washington Residents
Sav-On Insurance is a licensed insurance producer in Washington. Personal information we collect in connection with insurance transactions is governed by Title 48 of the Revised Code of Washington and the privacy rules adopted by the Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner, and by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.
Where we handle protected health information in connection with health, Medicare or employee benefits products, our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices applies and describes your rights with respect to that information.
Washington residents may request access to the personal information we hold, request correction of inaccurate information, and opt out of marketing communications at any time. Contact us using the details below.
California Residents
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion or correction, the right to opt out of sale or sharing, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information.
Information collected in connection with insurance transactions may be subject to separate treatment under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the California Insurance Information and Privacy Protection Act.
Other States
Our agents are licensed in several states beyond Washington, including Colorado, Oregon and Texas. Those states, along with Connecticut, Virginia, Utah and others, have enacted consumer privacy laws granting their residents rights similar to those described above.
If you are a resident of a state with such a law and wish to exercise a right, contact us and we will respond in accordance with the law applicable to you.
